Authentication (facility)
Sign members out when idle, and see and manage single sign-on for your organization.
Admin, then Authentication, has two cards. See Sign-in and single sign-on for how sign-in works.
Session security
Signs members out after a period with no activity, so a screen left open on a shared workstation stops showing patient information.
- Set Idle timeout to Sign out when idle, or Off.
- Enter the Minutes without activity: 5 to 720.
- Select Save.
A facility organization starts at 15 minutes. It applies to every member and is checked on every request. A member who goes idle is fully signed out, so the next person at the workstation is not signed back in as them.
Single sign-on and MFA
Read live from WorkOS, where sign-in for your organization is configured.
- Single sign-on lists each connection with its state: Active, Validating, Draft or Inactive. With none, members sign in with their email address.
- Multi-factor authentication is managed in WorkOS, and not shown here.
- Manage in WorkOS opens the WorkOS Admin Portal in a new tab, where your IT team sets up a connection.
If the card says your organization is not linked to WorkOS yet, contact HealthyRides support.
Records of sign-in and access changes are kept in the audit log, and are not configurable here.
