My rides

The rides you have won: assign crew, watch waits, release a ride or open a dispute.

My rides lists work a facility has picked you for. Here you give each ride a crew, follow it as it runs, and hand it back if you cannot do it.

Walkthrough

  1. Open My rides. Three tiles summarize the list: Won rides, No crew and Underway.
  2. Find a ride with No crew in the Crew column and choose Assign crew.
  3. In the sheet that opens, pick a Crew member and confirm. The column then reads Crew assigned.
  4. Choose the ride's reference to open its detail: the legs, milestones, messages and journal.
  5. To give a ride back, choose Release on its row, pick a Reason and choose Release ride. Choose Keep the ride to back out.
  6. After a leg completes, choose Dispute on its row if you believe a graded event is wrong.

What the columns mean

  • Ride: the ride reference, such as A1B2C3. It links to the detail.
  • Patient: shown here once you have won, because you now need it to carry the patient.
  • Status: Scheduled, In Progress, Completed or Cancelled.
  • Route and Pickup: where and when. A will-call return reads Unscheduled until it is launched.
  • Bid ETA: the time your bid committed to.
  • Crew: No crew, Crew assigned, or the Assign crew button.
  • Live: while a crew waits at the pickup, it reads Waiting with a running clock, and the time at which a no-penalty release opens.

Releasing a ride

You can release a ride until its crew sets off. Pick one reason: Crew unavailable, Vehicle breakdown, Outside service area, Schedule conflict or Other. Other asks you to say what happened. A release returns that ride alone to Available and rebroadcasts it. It counts against your reliability unless the facility caused the delay. See Release and rebroadcast.

The wait clock

When a crew punches Waiting (patient not ready), the clock runs until they depart. At 15 minutes the facility is alerted. At 30 minutes you can release without a reliability penalty. Your Reports show average waits by facility.

Disputes

You may dispute a graded event within 7 days. The facility is told, and HealthyRides staff decide. See Disputes.

Common questions

Why can I not release my ride?

Release is offered only before the crew sets off. After that the ride is underway.

Can I add someone who is not on the list?

Only people on your roster appear. Your provider admin adds crew members on Crew & admin.

A ride opens its detail from Scheduled onward, and for 30 days after a cancel that came after you were picked.
